Job Description
Join the Network Modernization project in Oslo for Helse Sør-Øst, modernizing Cisco-based infrastructure for secure, efficient healthcare IT. As a specialist with 5+ years experience in Cisco SDA, ISE, and ACI, update designs, implement migrations, automate configurations using Python/Terraform, and ensure network security with Palo Alto firewalls. Full-time role at Sykehuspartner from Nov 2025 to 2026, with options to extend.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience as a specialist

- Knowledge of Helse Sør-Øst’s network infrastructure (desired)
- Experience with scripting for configuration data via CLI and API (desired)
- Experience with network automation using Github/Terraform/Python (desired)
- Technical knowledge of Cisco ASR 9000/IOX-XR and Catalyst series (desired)
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI design and implementation (desired)
- Practical experience with Palo Alto firewalls (desired)
- Knowledge of network planning, redundancy, and security (desired)
- Experience with virtual and software-based networks (desired)
- Knowledge of network security including zone models and firewalls (desired)
- Competence in Linux (advantageous)
- Proactive, responsible, high execution ability
- Deep technical understanding with attention to detail and big picture
- Accurate and quality-conscious, especially in documentation
