Job Description
Join emagine in Oslo as a FinOps Consultant to establish FinOps practices in Azure cloud infrastructure. Drive cost optimization, governance, and reporting with Power BI. Collaborate across IT, finance, and business for efficient cloud economics. Hands-on role with knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement. Full-time contract from Nov 2025 to Jan 2026.

Requirements
- 3-5 years documented FinOps experience, including establishing cost management frameworks in cloud
- Competence in measuring and reporting cloud usage with KPIs, dashboards, and cost allocation
- Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools for developing and presenting reports to technical and financial stakeholders
- Experience anchoring FinOps processes in organizations with IT and finance environments
- Practical experience operationalizing FinOps processes, e.g., establishing FinOps Hubs, governance, or cost management in large organizations
- Experience from public sector or large enterprises with complex cloud and finance processes (desired)
- Collaboration with finance functions to translate technical costs into economic models and budget follow-up (desired)
- Power BI governance and establishing common data models/reporting frameworks (desired)
- Training and knowledge transfer to internal resources (desired)
- Cross-functional project work across business, finance, and IT (desired)
- Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in cloud platforms (desired)
