Job Description

Lead Agoda's Infrastructure Platform team in Bangkok with relocation support from Oslo. Drive Kubernetes-based compute innovations, manage Agile engineers, and foster data-driven excellence in a global travel tech environment. Hands-on coding in Golang, platform stability, and technical leadership for scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience as an engineering manager in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing Agile scrum teams with 5+ direct reports
Strong coding skills in a modern programming language (Golang preferred)
Hands-on experience with large-scale compute/infrastructure platforms (Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtual machines, containers)
Deep understanding of platform stability, resilience, and observability
Experience working in CI/CD environments with a strong focus on testing and quality
Ability to set OKRs/KPIs, make independent decisions, and take full ownership of outcomes
Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable, with strong English communication skills
